Golden View is situated in the beautiful eastern Free State town of Clarens, all our accommodation is within walking distance from the town square with its quaint shops and art galleries. Visitors can also eat at great restaurants with delicious menus.

Decks and patios at all units provide space to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and countryside. During the winter, fireplaces will ensure warmth and a cozy atmosphere.

The town of Clarens is only a 20km drive from the Golden Gate National Park with many interesting stops along the way. The area boasts beautiful scenery and many activities like fly fishing and horse riding. Additional adventure activities can be booked through Clarens Extreme Sport or Outrageous Adventures in town.

The town is within easy reach of the Afri Ski Lodge. Maluti Tours arranges snow ski trips into Lesotho.

OAK ON CHURCH HOUSE

This guesthouse, with its oak tree and Moroccan interior has two supersized family bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. It offers accommodation for four to eight people in a tranquil setting with a mountain view.
