Titanic Challenge Trail Run

The TITANIC CHALLENGE Trail Run returns this September and entries are OPEN!

Happening on Saturday, 2 September in our beautiful village of Clarens (Free State), we are excited to bring you the same awesome 10km, 21km, and 35km routes as last year... but due to increasing interest from diehard ultra-runners - we have added a stunning 50km route to race day!

This is a fundraising event and the income generated is donated to the Clarens Village Conservancy who works to preserve and protect the Clarens Nature Reserve which surrounds the quaint village of Clarens.

Excitingly - the funds from last year's run have already been put towards the building of a wheelchair-friendly path in the Reserve and have allowed the Conservancy to appoint another full-time ranger so that more people can experience the beauty of this stunning area which the Clarens Village Conservancy work so tirelessly to maintain at such a high standard.

The 10km, 21km and 35km routes have generally been kept the same as last year - meaning they all traverse the iconic Titanic Rock giving you an epic 360 degree view from the tip. The new 50km route still allows you to explore the stunning section through the private game farm where many of last year's runners saw plenty of wild game before it veers off onto some thrilling singletrack paths which will take you right past the other iconic rock in town - Mushroom Rock.
